There is a common misconception that original artwork is unaffordable, but there are plenty of art students and emerging artists selling beautiful work at very reasonable prices - if you look for it. Search for art sales and open houses at art colleges and universities, look on Etsy, google 'artist' and 'artist collective' in your area, go to an arts and crafts sale on the weekend. Affordable artwork exists, and those who buy it are patrons - acquiring something unique while supporting the artist's livelihood.

Dial A Poster was my attempt to provide a platform for artists to put up handmade posters and sell it to people requesting it. A new venture for making art available to the masses. (Well, also for some pocket money ;) )

WEBSITE ARCHITECTURE

Since I already had the first batch of posters ready to be sold, the content for the website was already done. I did some quick and dirty wireframes for layout and organisation.

WIREFRAMING & PROTOTYPING

Screens were designed in Illustrator and high-fidelity screens were mocked up in Photoshop. I did a quick branding exercise to decide the colour palette and sketched out a logo, followed by a couple of illustrations.
